Getting some ‘science’ done this week. Testing GoPros in extreme < 0F temperatures and establishing a baseline for battery and SD card storage performance across 1080 and 4K cameras. The 1080HD camera batteries give out around 3 hours 20 minutes after consuming 38GB of 64GB. The 4K cameras run out of 64GB space after only 2 hours and 20 minutes of recording… so we go with 128GB card and a humongous battery pack for the 4K.

We have a big team meeting this week and I think we’ll be ready to publish tracking data and we’ll be closer on repeater frequencies. LONG range weather forecasts are looking favorable with 0% rain and 65F temperature highs with 5-7mph surface winds. BUT that can all change. Stand by for updates!
